Explorer has been updated.
They said there would be a forced update in January 2014, and it happened today. February 19th.
I never agreed to this, but Microsoft just went ahead and updated it. ㅠㅠ
But don't worry. There is a reason for that.
For those wondering if their Internet Explorer browser was also forcibly upgraded, please refer to the image below to check.
Those of you planning to revert to a lower version now, please hold off. Those of you planning to downgrade, please hold off.
Most of you were probably using Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 10. To be precise, the reason many people used Internet Explorer 8 was that there was a time when Naver heavily advertised and encouraged downloads by saying, "Use the stable Internet Explorer 8."
You can view it in the same context. Microsoft forced the update to provide a more stable and effective service.
All smartphones use a language called HTML5.
You can consider the support range to be around 10 times the current level. Performance, efficiency, speed, etc.
While smartphones receive support services like Explorer 11, there must have been many people wondering how to upgrade those using Internet Explorer 8 on their PCs, which was installed three or four years ago.
The reason why it should have been updated is in the table below.
If you look at the table, a lower number is better.

Many of you are likely here to find out how to check your Internet Explorer version. Some of you may also be looking for information on how to reinstall Explorer 8. For those of you who came to check your version, I hope this information was helpful. Please do not downgrade your Explorer version. A new sun rises every day, so why look back? Updating Explorer is a good thing. You just need to use it properly. I absolutely do not recommend downgrading Explorer. Use the fast browser provided by Explorer 11.
